Watching Spring trying to break out makes me think of the story I read to my children of the Little Engine that could…..seems like Spring trys to come and then Old Man Winter slaps it back a few more days. Then spring tries again…it thinks it can….so I have named it the little Season that could! However, Spring will arrive fully and we will enjoy warm sunshine on our faces and be able to enjoy the outdoors once again.
With that wonderful warm weather comes the big cleanup of your facility, vehicles, yard, etc. But…when you break out the pressure washer, please bear in mind that we can also use those pressure washers to remove vinyl from vehicles, fascia signs, etc. Back the pressure off a bit so you are cleaning your vehicles and equipment but not blasting off all the lettering, and manufacturers decals, as well as your own company logos! They are called high pressure for a reason!!
We are also noticing more and more of our customers are changing over from the flourescent bulb type signage to LED lighting. It is a little costly up front doing the retrofit but saves you long term in less service required and longer lasting lighting. Next time you are at a stop light check out and see if the lights are LED. A lot of them are now, as well as the hand and man walking symbols for the crosswalks.
